Love-40’s Inaugural Tennis 105 Event was a huge success!
On the Friday evening, June 23, 2023, tennis players, many tennis pros and volunteers gathered at T Bar M Racquet Club in Dallas for a fun night of tennis using the 105 format. The tennis was enjoyed by everyone!
The goal of this event was to raise funds to support the shipping efforts of Love-40 for donated items that they send to Zambia for the Zambian children’s tennis programs. Generous donors gave items for a wonderful raffle! Raffle items included tennis bags, spa treatments and many other items. T Bar M generously donated their indoor courts and the use of their other facilities while another sponsor donated funds to support the event, and yet another donated the food and drinks that everyone enjoyed.
Our wonderful Love-40 organization’s mission is to improve the lives of local Zambian children between the ages of 7 to 18 through tennis in the town of Mufulira which is in the Copperbelt province of Zambia. We introduce the children to tennis by providing ongoing instruction, coaching, and emotional support, not only for the sport of tennis but for their own growth and self-esteem.
